Coaching for Inner Freedom
Inner Freedom is having the capacity to choose how to act as opposed to being dominated by limiting beliefs and habitual behaviour patterns.
I work with people who want to change, want a more meaningful, purposeful life, but feel stuck, trapped, dominated or imprisoned by their own internal or external circumstances.
Feeling restrained in this way creates tension and inner conflict which can be overwhelming. It may show up as frustration, anger, anxiety, powerlessness, despair or a feeling that you’re lacking purpose. You may feel disappointed in yourself or that you’ve lost your way. You’re longing for change but fearful at the same time.
In coaching for inner freedom we will find your strengths and gifts, we’ll work to identify and uproot skewed beliefs, uncover habitual thought patterns and behaviours and explore dominating emotions. I will guide you towards having the capacity, courage and confidence to be your true self.
Nirodhah
‘Nirodhah’ is a Sanskrit word which has many different translations. The inspiration for the name of the studio was taken from The Yoga Sutras of Pantanjali (an ancient text of aphorisms on yoga handed down from generation to generation).
The second sutra “yogascittavrittinirodhah” tells us that the purpose of the practice of yoga is to take the mind from a state of distraction and instability to a state of stillness and containment.
Nirodhah is a dedicated space to find containment and stillness through the practice of Yoga and other holistic methods to bring harmony to mind, body and spirit.
Yoga Classes
Yoga has its origins in the Vedas, a collection of very ancient texts that are the foundation of Hindu spiritual tradition. It is one of the 6 fundamental systems of Indian thought collectively known as darsana.
Bespoke Yoga Package and Individual Lessons
A bespoke yoga package starts with a 90-minute session, part enquiry and part practice, to explore the psychological, physiological and physical needs of the student for the purpose of having a personalised home practice constructed.
Meditation Classes
Meditation is a practice where an individual uses a technique – such as mindfulness, or focusing the mind on a particular object, thought or activity – to train attention and awareness, and achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm and stable state.
